As stated in previous information, students need to arrive at school at the normal time on Monday for a departure around 10 am.  We should be returning between 2-2.30 pm on the Wednesday. Parents may collect their children upon arrival back at school, but please ensure you have notified the class teacher before you take your child home. Remaining children will be dismissed at the usual time of 3.10.

MEDICATIONS

If your child currently has medication held at the school for medical conditions, allergies etc. these medications will be taken along to camp and administered as usual. Please contact the schools Front Office and ensure that all Action Plans & Medical Authorities are current and that all medications are sufficient in quantity and within expiry date range.

REMINDER – Any medications that are usually administered at home and will need to be administered while at camp, including topical creams, Panadol etc. will need to display a pharmacist label bearing the students name, date of birth and dosage instructions. You will also require a Medical Authority to be completed for each medication, these need to be completed by a medical professional (GP or Pharmacist), NOT by a parent/guardian. This is a DECD Policy. Staff cannot administer medications should these requirements not be met.

NAPLAN

The Year 7s will be involved in NAPLAN testing from May 15th – 17th. On Tuesday 15th there are 2 tests, Language Conventions and Writing. On Wednesday 16th it is Reading and Thursday 17th it is Maths. We will be starting each day just after 9am, so it is important that all students are punctual. We wish all our Year 7s well. I’m sure they will all be putting in their best efforts.
